Real case of integration of adaptation to climate change in the Mediterranean forest in local policies (Mataró municipality)

The “Real case of integration of the adaptation to climate change of sub-humid Mediterranean mixed forests in local policies (Mataró municipality)” is now available at this link. This work was coordinated by the Montnegre i el Corredor massif forest owners’ association.

The main objectives of this publication are to introduce the characteristics of the municipality of Mataró (Barcelona) and how the local administration can promote a wide variety of measures to facilitate the adaptation to climate change of the peri-urban forests within the municipality, both publicly and privately owned. The proposals include a program of implementation at the policy level, planning instruments, sensitization and awareness raising.
