During the autumn and winter 2017-18 we have completed the ecological (Action D2) and silvicultural (Action D3) inventories of the project stands. The aim of these inventories is to characterise in detail the stands before the silvicultural interventions take place. We have installed permanent monitoring plots that will be measured again after the silvicultural interventions in order to assess their effect at short (2018) and medium (2020) term. It is intended to evaluate the impact of the silvicultural treatments on climate change adaptation indicators, including forest structure, undergrowth, biodiversity, water use efficiency, etc.
